Why a Kenyan Customer Added Solar Flood Lights to Election Supplies

As Kenya approaches the 2027 General Election, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is continuing to advance related preparations, with the next General Election scheduled for August 10, 2027. In addition to ballot boxes, voting booths and indelible ink, reliable lighting is also an important part of polling station operations, especially in rural areas, temporary venues or locations with unstable power supply. Against this background, our long-term Kenyan customer chose us again and customized a batch of portable solar flood lights for polling stations.

This model is a portable solar flood light integrating solar charging, battery storage and AC power supply, making it suitable for temporary outdoor locations and emergency lighting. The product features a black rectangular LED lamp head, a yellow telescopic metal tripod and a separate solar panel, giving it a professional and highly visible engineering-style appearance. The built-in rechargeable battery can store power generated by the solar panel during the day. When the battery has sufficient power, the light can be switched on or off directly by remote control without keeping the solar panel connected. At the same time, this solar powered LED flood light can also be connected to mains electricity through a plug, providing greater flexibility during rainy weather, insufficient sunlight or when quick charging is required. The LED lamp head uses high-density LED chips and a wide-area floodlight structure, together with an IP67 waterproof design and rear heat-dissipation structure. The foldable tripod supports height adjustment, while the lighting angle can also be adjusted as needed. With features such as portability, rechargeability, adjustability, waterproof performance and easy installation, this IP67 solar flood light with tripod is well suited for polling station lighting, outdoor solar lighting and emergency lighting.
