As Kenya’s 2027 General Election enters the preparation stage, election material procurement is gradually moving from early price inquiries to sample confirmation and quality testing. Transparent ballot boxes, security seals, voting booths, indelible election pens, staff uniforms, stamp pads, stamps and lighting equipment required at polling stations all need to be customized, numbered, packed and arranged for transportation in advance. Based on Kenya’s polling station needs for transparent supervision, tamper-evident management, anti-repeat voting marking, staff identification and fast deployment, the Kenyan client visited our Ballot Expert sample room and factory on August 21, 2026. After a full day of sample review and solution discussion, the client finally decided to customize a complete batch ofelection materials, including 55L ballot boxes, disposable election seals, voting booths, indelible election pens, reflective vests, masking tape, cotton T-shirts, stamp pads, stamps and LED table lamps, for their upcoming election project preparation.

This Kenyan client did not customize a single election product, but a complete polling station supplies kit designed around the actual polling station workflow. It covers multiple stages, including ballot collection, ballot box sealing, voter privacy protection, anti-repeat voting marking, staff identification, document management and night counting. The main products include:

(1) 55L Plastic Ballot Box
The 55L plastic ballot box is the core product in this customization project. The box is made of PP polypropylene material, making it lightweight and durable. It also features a transparent or semi-transparent design, allowing staff to check the ballot status inside the box at any time and reducing unnecessary box opening. The 55L capacity is suitable for polling stations with a large voter flow and can be used together with disposable security seals to improve ballot box security and traceability.

(2) Disposable Security Seal
Disposable security seals are mainly used for ballot box sealing, document bag sealing and transportation handover. The seals are lightweight and easy to use. Once locked, they cannot be opened without visible damage, helping prevent unauthorized access.

(3) Voting Booth
The voting booth is made of PP hollow board material, which is lightweight, moisture-resistant, splash-resistant, insect-resistant and easy to clean. It is mainly used to protect voter privacy when marking ballots and also helps keep the polling station more orderly.

(4) Indelible Election Pen
The indelible election pen is mainly used to mark voters’ fingers or nails after voting. It works similarly to indelible ink and helps polling station staff identify voters who have already voted, reducing the risk of repeat voting. Compared with traditional bottled ink, the election pen is easier to carry, distribute and operate on site.

(5) Reflective Vest and Cotton T-shirt
Reflective vests and cotton T-shirts are mainly used for staff identification. Reflective vests are suitable for outdoor guidance, night transportation, entrance management and counting centers. Cotton T-shirts are comfortable to wear and suitable for volunteers and on-site staff working for long hours.

(6) Stamp Pad and Stamp
Stamp pads and stamps are used for document confirmation, form stamping and file archiving at election sites. Stamp pads can be used with different ink colors, helping staff manage on-site documents more efficiently.

(7) Masking Tape and LED Table Lamp
Masking tape can be used for temporary marking, document sealing, table zoning and route guidance. LED table lamps are suitable for night counting, temporary offices, power outage backup or polling stations with insufficient lighting. Although these auxiliary materials are small in size, they can significantly improve on-site efficiency and management standards at polling stations.
